Hi Everyone,
I made this storage wall shelf about a year ago. It's the second project I ever built, and it's a perfect size for our little downstairs guest bathroom. The walls in our home are slowly getting filled with much-needed storage space.
This is pre-blogging days, so I only have a few photos.
You can see the plans at Ana White's website.
Here I just finished assembling the shelf and filling all the nail holes. I had bought the Kreg Jig and was just itching to try it out. If you haven't bought one of these things yet, go get one! It makes the build go fast, and even better, everything lines up really square.
I painted it in my dining room, just propped it up on some egg cartons.
It's way too cold to paint outdoors in early spring in central Alberta!
The paint I used is some leftover CIL Smart3 for trim and doors.
Here's with the hooks attached. I think the black and white contrast is so crisp-looking.
I just think it's so pretty!
Easy to make, and you can add your own special touch with the curved edge on the sides.
But my favorite part is that it fills the great void above the toilet!
Have a Great Day and Happy Building!
