PANCAKES
(Source: Canada AM, circa 1977)
When
I first graduated college I was briefly unemployed. I would get up at
6:00 in the morning to watch my favorite news show, Canada AM, before heading
out to hunt down a job. There was a weekly segment devoted to cooking.
One morning they featured a chef who worked in an exclusive restaurant in Toronto. He was famous for his pancakes, and actually divulged his secret recipe. It's so-o-o-o-o good! And my family lo-o-o-o-o-ves them! This recipe makes 10-12 four inch pancakes. If there are any leftovers I freeze them in individual storage bags. They can be popped in the toaster for a quick breakfast on a busy morning.
