TENSION ROD ORGANIZER

Good Morning Everyone!

Would you like to know a super quick and easy way to create a spot for organization?
Here is a little tip using a tension rod and curtain rings.

I was rooting through my front closet a few weeks before Christmas looking for something. I don't even remember what it was now, because I got distracted when I stumbled across an old tension rod we were using in the bathroom before we installed the permanent one. This happens all the time. It's a wonder anything gets accomplished around here.

BUT...It immediately hit me that this tension rod could be the
answer to a bit of an organization problem in my sewing room.

My mending basket. It's ready to topple over any minute.

It is overflowing with all kinds of alterations I need to do, and the pile seems
to be growing by the minute. But I have an idea.

I have a collection of curtain rings with clips on them.
The cap pops right off the end of the rod.

I slipped 10 rings on and replaced the cap.

I mounted it between the side of my bookshelf and the wall.

I now have a place to hang my mending To-Do's so that they're right in
front of where I sit and sew! How easy was that?

I only put a few out at a time so that it doesn't look so overwhelming and helps
keep me focussed.

Just climbing Mending Basket Mountain one alteration at a time.

Have a good day, and Happy Organizing!

Val
